November 4 2008 to 2009 marks the anniversary of a historical event. The night Barack Obama was elected President of the United State. It was the first time that there has been an African-American president and also first year that I've ever voted. A crowd of nearly a quarter-million jammed Grant Park and the surrounding area in Chicago, where Obama addressed the nation for the first time as its president-elect at midnight.
An amazing nite, people was actually outside loosing there mind, celebrating a accomplishment in history!!
The speech was motivating too!!
