Travis Barker and DJ AM were critically injured when their plane crashed killing 4 others.A spokesperson for the FAA, Kathleen Bergen, said that the plane, a Lear jet, attempted to take off shortly before midnight, (Friday September 19th, 2008) from Columbia, South Carolina on route to Van Nuys, California when the air traffic controller reported seeing sparks coming from the plane. The plane then went off the runway and crashed on a highway embankment, catching fire.
